BLUE CHEESE DIP

By Dan Cannon, 22-April-2002

This is very quick and simple recipe that I just created through the desire to have an intense taste of Blue Cheese that was not mixed with many other taste.

2/3rd     Part     Sour Cream

1/3rd     Part     Mayonnaise

Crumbled   Blue Cheese

I would simply buy a medium size container of Sour Cream and put it in a mixing bowl.  Put an equivalent of 1/3 of that sour cream amount of mayonnaise in.  Then add the crumbled Blue Cheese until the mixture is VERY thick with Blue Cheese.  Add the Blue Cheese to suit your own taste, but I like it to be very intense and thick with the chunks.  Stir and mix completely.

This is the MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PROCESS!  After you mix it together it will not taste good.  It will taste like 3 independent taste (sour cream, mayonnaise, and blue cheese).

It must be put in the refrigerator for 24 hours.  The flavors will blend and it will literally go through a metamorphosis!  It will be great.
